Yearly Events that are heavily attended by college coaches (these should be on your radar to do some of them):

  • Women's National Tournament-- open to all HS players and an opportunity to tryout and represent your region on Team Wisconsin. Tournament occurs Memorial Day Weekend every year near the NCAA Division I Final Four location. Tryouts are usually mid-late April
  • New Balance All American -- a popular event, same weekend as American Select. This is an event where you will rep the Midwest. This draws lots of coaches. Tryouts are in June.
  • Western Winners- occurs in June each summer. You will be coached by college coaches through drills and games. Be sure to check the coaches list beforehand to make sure you're interested in those schools.
  • E12 Clinics -- run at various cities around the country. Check the coaches list beforehand to make sure you're interested in those schools.
  • Best in Class- showcases usually occur in both June and July and are class-specific. You will have the ability to train, learn, and compete in front of a lot of college coaches.
  • American Select -- each region will host tryouts to compete in a Championship at the end of July. In only it's second year, this has become a wildly successful event drawing a lot of coaches from all over the country. Open to rising seniors, juniors, sophomores, and freshmen. Tryouts occur in June currently in our region but be sure to check in January/February.
  • Southern Elite Showcase- if you want to play in the Southeast, this is a great event. Coaches from D1, D2 and D3 will be in attendance.
  • Lacrosse Masters-- if you want to play at a high-academic school, these series of camps are for you. Some focus on D1 while some focus on D3 and some include both divisions.
  • Collegiate Summer Camps-- You can find these on any school website. The absolute best way to get seen by a specific school is to go on their campus and attend a camp or clinic. Most schools hold prospect clinics in the Fall and Winter with bigger camps in the Summer. This is not doable for every school due to cost and time but we do recommend attending those of your top realistic schools.
  • Local 6s & 3v3 Events-- Marquette (Halloween weekend), CMU (October), GVSU (Halloween weekend)
